Who Are We?

Be Still

By David Ekkens, Ph.D. (biology professor) and Rhonda Rossier (biology student)

Glide on a canoe through the waterways of Algonquin National Park in Canada, and then portage with a heavy load of equipment and supplies to get to the next lake. Many trials and challenges accompany such an adventure, but the Creator assures us at every turn to "be still and know that I am God."

You will want to adventure out into nature after taking this excursion with a number of college student and their professor. Gain the unique perspective of the trip from the eyes of both the instructor and the student who coauthored this story.
