Get a bird’s eye view of a long-crested eagle’s nest from a bird blind high in the trees of Kenya, Africa. Author David Ekkens, Ph.D., observes these large birds and draws many lessons with spiritual applications.

He watches as the parents of the young eagles take special care to give their offspring a good start. Then they encourage the eagle to be on its own. Eventually the young eagle returns to its nest much the same way we like to return to our childhood home.
